Grammy Award winning singer Faith Evans was arrested in Los Angeles for drunk driving according to LAPD.
Evans is the widow of rapper Biggie Smalls (born Christopher Wallace).
Evans, who uses the handle @MissDunaway on Twitter, tweeted the following from her Blackberry about the incident.
Hi Faithfuls…I am on the set of my new video for my single “Gone Already”. I’m sure by now most of you heard that I was detained on suspicion of a DUI. After completing a full day of wardrobe prep I was stopped at a random checkpoint.
Evans says she was detained and LAPD says she was arrested. Hmmmmmm …

*smh* – apparently my cognitive capabilities are far more limited than I thought. What’s this about? Did she need farther reach to announce her upcoming video? Does she deal with a problem the public doesn’t really need to know of? Is this a PR snafu? Can anyone help me out here? I can’t make any sense of this. I’m just a simple mind living in rural areas… (LOL)
