When it comes to creating a buzz about online and offline events and causes, a large percentage of people swear by Facebook — and even Google Plus. However, Twitter remains a major contender in the social media sphere. In fact, it is probably one of the most powerful promotional tools out there.
In a previous article, I wrote about the Resources section provided by the social network and microblogging service. This section boasts great tools that will help make websites and blogs more interactive. These tools include widgets, logos and icons, as well as the Follow and Tweet buttons.
The Tweet Button allows visitors to share pre-written content on Twitter with a click of the mouse. It can be installed on any website or blog, and is very easy to customize:
